SalesOS Accessibility Statement

Our target, how we test against it, and where SalesOS still falls short.

Our target

SalesOS aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This is a target we test against, not a certified or independently audited claim of conformance.

How we test

  • An automated axe-core scan, driven by Playwright, loads more than 70 routes of the signed-in app plus every tab of the seven record pages (leads, contacts, accounts, deals, quotes, orders and sequences). A page fails if axe reports any critical or serious violation.
  • We run that scan by hand against the live site. It is not yet part of automated CI.
  • Separate scripts check dashboard routes at phone (390px) and tablet (768px) widths for content that overflows the screen, controls smaller than 40 by 40 pixels and text inputs under 16px, and read the source for buttons and form fields with no accessible name.
  • Colour tokens were darkened where they measured under 4.5:1 contrast for normal text.

Built in

  • A “skip to content” link at the top of every page.
  • Keyboard navigation in the main record lists (j and k or the arrow keys to move, Enter to open), with a shortcut guide on the ? key.
  • Animations follow your operating system’s reduced-motion setting.
  • On phones, text inputs use 16px text so the page does not zoom when you type, and buttons get a larger touch area.

Known gaps

  • Automated tools find only part of the barriers people meet. We have not yet tested SalesOS with screen-reader users or commissioned an expert audit.
  • The scan checks each page as it first loads, so dialogs, menus and collapsed sections are covered less thoroughly.
  • The public marketing pages are not in the automated scan, apart from the Status and Support pages.
  • Content that you or your customers create, and text written by AI features, is not checked.
  • We have not published a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) yet.
